The Romulus Central School District's Workplace Violence Prevention policy aims to ensure the safety and security of employees by addressing workplace violence, which includes physical assaults, threats, and aggressive behavior.
Our policy mandates a thorough investigation of any violent incidents and requires all employees to foster a respectful environment, adhere to workplace policies, and report any violent or threatening behavior.
The policy complies with NYS Labor Law 27b and 12 NYCRR 800.6, involving employee representatives in evaluating risks, developing prevention programs, and reviewing incident reports.
Annual training is required for all employees.
The designated contacts for reporting incidents are Jennifer Hayden, Superintendent of Schools, and Jennifer Bartlett-Prati, Assistant Superintendent, both located at the District Office.
