Free Breakfast and Lunch through Community Eligibility Program
No further action is required on your behalf to participate. However, the district encourages families to complete the CEP form to help secure future grants and fund for the school meal program.
Healthy Classroom Celebrations
The Romulus Central School District’s Wellness Policy is aligned with the federal nutrition standards for in-school celebrations. We are committed to ensuring food during the school day supports healthy eating, allowing students to have options that are included in the USDA Smart Snacks in Schools.
Students learn what they live—so let’s help them learn to enjoy healthy choices by creating supportive and health-focused classroom environments!
- To promote inclusivity and safety for all students, we encourage families and staff to consider non-food celebration ideas. You can find helpful suggestions for non-food celebrations at: Action for Healthy Kids
- A list of snack ideas that qualify as USDA identified Smart Snacks in School at: Alliance for a Healthier Generation
Thank you for helping us build a healthy, welcoming school community for every student.
